What Flatstick is
Flatstick is a scorekeeping and tabulation tool for golf played among friends. You set up a round, enter scores, and the app computes the standings and who owes whom under the game formats you chose.
Flatstick never handles money
This is the most important term on this page. Flatstick never holds, escrows, or moves money. It is not a payment processor, a money transmitter, a bank, a wallet, or a gambling operator. It performs arithmetic on numbers you enter.
When the app shows a settle-up link, that link simply opens your own payment app with an amount pre-filled. Any payment is made directly between you and the other person, on their service, under their terms. Flatstick is not a party to it, takes no fee from it, and has no ability to reverse, guarantee, or recover it.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the scores and wagers you enter.
- You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. Wagering law varies by jurisdiction, and whether any given arrangement between you and your friends is lawful is your determination to make, not ours.
- You are responsible for what you post. Do not post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content in a round's chat.
- You must keep your account credentials secure and not share your account.
Subscriptions
Some features may require a paid subscription billed through your App Store account. Prices, terms and any trial are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you manage or cancel them in your Apple subscription settings. Deleting your Flatstick account does not cancel App Store billing.
Accuracy and availability
We work to make the scoring and settlement math correct and test it extensively, but the app is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that a computed total is suitable for any purpose beyond a friendly game. If you believe a total is wrong, check it before anyone pays anyone.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OTCHealth Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any amount exchanged between users. Because Flatstick never holds funds, disputes about a payment are between the people who made it.
Ending your use
You may stop using Flatstick and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or other users.
